Tēnā koutou, mālō e lelei, talofa lava, kia orana, fakaalofa lahi atu, bula vinaka, ආයුබෝවන්, สวัสดี, سلام, kumustá, kia ora e te whānau.

Tāmaki Primary School is a culturally rich and diverse Year 1 to 8 school. We are proud of our long history of serving the community since 1951. We are part of a vibrant community situated between the tupuna maunga – Maungarei and the stunning Te Waimokoia leading out to Te Wai o Taiki.

The Tāmaki Primary School community has strong relationships and supports that span across generations. This empowers all ākonga (students) to embrace learning, achieve their personal best, take risks, and become lifelong learners.

Over the years, the school has developed Te Puna Wairua, a Rumaki (full immersion te reo Māori unit) and Talamuka-‘a-Tonga, a Bilingual Lea Faka-Tonga unit. We have a dedicated and caring staff and School Board focused on developing quality relationships, teaching, and learning for our ākonga.

Education is a pathway to making a positive difference, and at Tāmaki Primary School, we do this through our values of Manaakitanga, Rangatiratanga, and Kaitiakitanga. We are excited to be part of the transformation of our Tāmaki community.

Whāia te ara tika, e te whānau. Mauri ora!
